The Merry Christmas thread

From the creators of Crown of Glory come an epic tale of North Vs. South. By combining area movement on the grand scale with optional hex based tactical battles when they occur, Forge of Freedom provides something for every strategy gamer. Control economic development, political development with governers and foreign nations, and use your military to win the bloodiest war in US history.

The Merry Christmas thread

I see nobody made a Merry Christmas thread yet - so I guess I'll do it.
Merry Christmas to everybody!
Hope you all have fun and get everything you wished for Christmas [:)]

Thanks, and the same to you. I actually intend to play this game for the first time over the break, IF I get the time!

Merry Christmas!

By the way, lots interesting stuff on Christmas during the Civil War can be found with a simple Google search. I just found this image on the web, representing a family separated by the Civil War. (It's here, where a bigger image can be found: http://www.brotherswar.com/19th_Century_Christmas.htm )

Merry Christmas everyone!

Lucky me - no coal (yet) - I got Forge for Christmas! So far the game looks good and the manual kinda scares me... in a good way (I think). [:'(]

Excellent. Do be sure to look at the various threads presenting strategy ideas -- they'll help with the learning curve.

Also, it wouldn't hurt to watch our 4-min. promotional video to see how and where one clicks. Combined with the tutorial that comes with the game, that should help you learn the user interface quickly.

Yes a merry Christmas to ye all. just got fat by eating Christmas dinner, the pudding is on the boil as I type. In the past year we have had a bush fire and 2 floods and just come out of a drought, but the kids are happy, the missus is happy and I 'm well and happy, and can find plenty of time to play games, so must had been just another good year [:D]
