Recommended interface upgrade

Post by Jimmer »

Obviously, I know you guys are hip-deep in problems just fixing true bugs. But, this came up last night, so I thought I would get it on the list for next year's Christmas present. :)

When one right-clicks the brown area showing the current area/troops, the area is shown larger, and clean. This is good. But, the picture is pixillated, probably indicating that all the interface is doing is expanding the original image.

I would recommend having separate images for these microscoped-images, so that the features are crisp and clean.

NOTE: This REALLY does not have to be changed. But, it would look so much better.

Appreciate the tip. I quickly added this as a zoom which is a quick snap shot of the map that is resized. The problem is that this image's aspect ratio is different than the map so it may look a little oblong. My goal was to enlarge for viewing and the price was the area being a little out-of-whack. I understand what you're saying and maybe there is a middle ground. I'll look at this later (in my spare time :-))

Thank you

This isn't really a "bug" at all, so I won't be broken-hearted if it never gets changed. But, it shows up as being clearly an afterthought, so you might want to change it just to save face with your office buddies. :)

(Note I said "change", not "fix".)
