Clarification: Will patch 1.01 be compatible with already begun pbem games?

So, just a quick question...for pbem games in progress..will the patch be effective and fix bugs like the Ottomans not getting a morale boost, etc?

Or will the patch only work on new pbem games once installed? just wondering if we should hold off on starting a new pbem game until early next week when the patch comes out?

As of this writing, it will be compatible but some of the added features (e.g. enable/disable use of the Lille sea crossing) will only be available for new games started with the 1.01 patch installed. I do not expect this patch to be ready before January 5th but when it does get released it will have the OE morale boost for Turkey included.
