DAT file?

My opponent is sending me a dat file instead of the standard uvs file of a game turn save. What gives here?

I never thought that doing an AAR would be so time consuming and difficult.

The .dat file was related to veersion 2.0 trying to interface with version 2.5. The solution was to turnoff and restart my computer after downloading the patch.

My opponent figured out that the had a bad V2.5 patch and is now running fine.  Thanx...
