After you do that, go to a PAINT program (or something similar such as PHOTOSHOP) and hit PASTE. You can print from there if you desire. Normally, most people just save the file under PAINT/PHOTOSHOP using JPG format.

The forum software is compatible with JPG and GIF.

<print screen> won't completely do the job ... you need to press <cntl> <print screen>

this will save the screen image in memory, then you can go into microsoft paint (as the free example probably included with your microsoft operating system) and press "paste" or <cntl> <v> to copy the memory buffer into the software.

I wrote a short wiki using two free screenshot/ annotation programmes that is available for anyone who wants to have a look.

hmmmm.... this might be system dependent.... i've experimented with different computers, and they behave, well, differently as to the key(s) (or combination of keys) iirc.

EDIT - just now tried it with my work computer - "print screen" key alone works just fine.

No you need to upload it to the website... when composing your message check "Embed picture in post", then click on "Click here to upload!"

Use browse to select the file name... you can only pictures with GIF and JPG extensions, and there are limits to the size and number of bytes in the file.
