Numerous screen problems

I just purchased Harpoon 3 and got to firing it up. I have had errors like "Resolution not supported ..." I have tried every setting I can think of and every driver variation to get to the point where Yay! it starts up. Problem now is that the screen is not full screen and I have a bit of a vision issue. Maybe I'm just dumb and there is some setting I am missing, but after spending most of an afternoon on my computer, and all day so far on my parents computer ..... well, getting frustrated.

This machine is pretty vanilla: Compaq Presario with XP Home.

I used to play this game years ago and REALLY want to play it again without my eyes coming out of my head! [8D]

You are NOT the only one having that problem. I have no clue how to solve it but it is probably some port that is blocked by either your ISP or a friewall/router. I use a shared connection so can't so anything and I have to use my dad's connection when I visit, if I need a patch.

I fixed the firewall, but *whatever* ... It's Dad's computer. I know it works on mine. A kind soul named Herman put it up for me to download. Doing that now. Let you all know how it works.
