Two Simple Questions

Post by jeffreysutro@jeffreysutro.com »

I have a couple of questions that are probably explained somewhere, but which I haven't found the answers to.

1) How do you turn on the hex grid?

2) What does the "French Mobility" option do?

Thank you for any answers you can give me.

Adraeth:

Thank you for your reply. I believe that I stated question #1 unclearly. The question should be;

1) How do you activate the hex grid so that it appears on the map?

My apologies for the confusing phrasing.

Adraeth:

I had thought that there was a way to display the hex grid in "For Liberty", but I went back to some of my old "For Liberty" saves and there does not appear to be any way to display the hex grid there either. This is unfortunate from my point of view (since I prefer to play games with the hex grid displayed), but I doubt that it's going to be changed. Thank you again for your assistance.

There is no hex grid in our games. You can easily make a map mod that has a hexgrid if you want, grapics and sounds are very easy to mod, just change the files.
To get an accurate grid, use the mask.bmp file in the data folder.
