Incorrect Major League Debut Date

I was looking at one of the opposing team's players before a game and I happened to notice that the date it shows in his 'Major League Debut' field doesn't seem correct. Observe the card below:



As you can see, it claims his Major League Debut was in 2012. Though it's obvious that he played a significant amount of games that year, note that his brief stint with Minneapolis in 2009 consisted of 365 ABs. I admit that I haven't a clue what the recognized minimum number of ABs are to qualify as a "debut" season. However, I'm thinking that 365 sounds like enough. If this is the case, should 2009 not be his 'Major League Debut' date?
