Inexperienced Player Looking for game

long time player, but have not played in a long while[:D]. Have some PBEM experience and would like to play a friendly game where I can relearn the finer points of the game and have fun at the same time. Don't mind house rules but have no idea which ones are necessary. I can do a turn a day and more when i am not working. I am sure a competent Japanese player will beat me to death but I seem to play the allied side better than the Japanese.

I can take you on - am a beginner as well - only 4 pbem games so far.
 
Can play jap side - standard game latest version 1.8.0.6. We can discuss house rules.
I can do a turn a day - but more will be difficult as I am living in (GMT +1)
