Turns

Post by wildcowboy »

Hi all,

Looking into picking this game up. I'm wondering how long each turns lasts. Days, weeks, months? Also, should I waste my time getting it now or wait for the Admiral's edition?

Any other opinions on whether to give this game a go?

Thanks,
CB

You can set the turns to be 1, 2 or 3 days.

AE is an add-on to WiTp not a new game, so get it now and then AE later.

I just got the game Last week. The Adms. Ed. is what caught my eye. I was really concerened because the age of the game in comparison with the cost. I was debateing between getting Harpoon or WITP. I loved Harpoon and been waiting for the remake for years. I opted for WITP instead. I have always liked war stratagy games and have played most especially space stratagy styles like VGA Planets one of the original PBEMs. This game kind of reminds me of that. This game is tuff to get a handle on but I find the more I learn the more ingrossed I become. It will require a lot of hours just to figure it out. I can see that the replayability for this is huge. No game you play will be the same.
