Short answer, YES.

Somewhere between a dozen and two-dozen people have publically gotten WITP to run on Vista. Usually they had some "security" issues first, but got those solved. AE is just WITP with code and data and art changes so no different from the original technology-wise.

OK. Thanks Joe. Was a bit concerned about this as my new laptop has Vista...grrrr. Hopefully I can get it to run as well, despite my crap PC skills.

Once you get over the hump all will be good. The worst thing about Vista to ME is that sort of forces you to relearn some stuff. But for an old pro you you'll be fine in no time.

P.S. I hope you have at least 2gigs of RAM.

I would not use the word "promise" about any event which we think might happen in the future. But I "expect" that the next WITP patch will be released either prior to or maybe even about the same time as, the AE release.
