I'm thinking of starting a PBEM game, but up to now I'm absolutely undecided about the scenario or campaign. Since a full campaign will take quite some time with AE around the corner (in relation to a full WITP PBEM campaign) I tend to a shorter scenario like Guadalcanal, but I don't know if this scenario is well balanced for both players to be enjoyable. Generally I'd prefer the Allied side in a full campaign since I can't take the burden to manage Japanese construction. For other gameplay settings and house rules I'm up for any suggestions. [:)]

I do live in GMT+1 timezone and will probably make one turn per day.

One thing to consider - the short, partial map senarios do not feature Japanese production. Good luck finding someone - my plate is full.

Yes, that why I was thinking of Guadalcanal (or any other short scenario). Do you have any house rules in your running games?

Hi,
Iam waiting for AE to come out before restarting a grand campaign PBEM so Iam interested. We can play the Guadalcanal scenario or if its your first PBEM we can also try the "Rising Sun" one with you as Japanese. As for the fun dont worry, even on the "receiving end" I definitely intend to have fun too no matter the game balance[;)]

Iam GMT+1 too, should be able to do 4-5 turns per week, more than likely more considering its not a grand campaign.

please PM me if you are interested

Happy new Year!
