Check Your Status Now!

Post by David Heath »

Hi Guys

The warehouse has updated for the night and now would be a good time to check your order.

To check your order go to http://www.matrixgames.com/cgi-bin/store/myorder.cgi

You must know your MTX# and zip code to get an update on your order. If you see a a tracking number just click on it. If it tells you UPS does not have this number do not worry UPS just needs more time to catch up.

OK, mine shipped! And the yard has my boat ready, also! I think I'll load it on the notebook and go anchor.

Rawink, they drink micro-brewery stuff on Long Gisland, but never the same one for fear they might miss something.

mine shipped

Post by 11Bravo »

Hi,

Dave said mine would ship last night and it did.

There were many posts by people who paid for next day or second day, and wondering if they were getting value for the extra cost.

The answer is yes.

I preordered May 2 UPS ground and if all goes well, I will have mine around 5 PM on May 22 or so.

Just wanted to give you guys another data point. I think Matrix did a great job getting this game out, and the shipping looks like it was handled fairly. Those who paid for faster service got it. Those who went cheap, like me, waited a few days. I'm happy, and I hope this makes you happy too. :)

By the way, we had an unexpected freeze that decimated our early planting, and my wife's car wouldn't start this morning. I'm still happy though... :)

Yes, but it appears like it's going to be a grand day in Michigan (uh, well, at least the weather... my UV is still in transit, too -- I'm praying to the mail gods to get it to me tomorrow).

Hi--

Mine shipped. I, too, think Matrix handled it very well. But now I'm a wee bit worried about my choice of the USPS. I though I had it down pretty well. Priority mail is 2-3 days, usually 2 from California to Portland; the game was to ship May 15; I was to be back home May 18--Voila! I would have the game as soon as I got home! No need for the expensive shipping. And even though it didn't ship till yesterday, there's still a good chance it will arrive on Saturday, since the USPS delivers. But the fly in my ointment is that the tracking number has come up with zilch for a day and a half, now. They say they have no record of the item. I'm hoping its merely a clerical error, and it did ship, but it makes me less sure it's going to be there when I get back. The best laid plans of mice and grognards, aften gang aglee....

Ditto, but that is probably the USPS's fault.

This is a major reason why we are only using UPS and USPS on for APO, PO Boxes. We pay extra for the tracking service from USPS and they hardly have it working or it gets entered after the package arrives.

Well, now I feel better. :) It looks like it's merely their tracking, not something wrong with the shipment. I'd stop paying the extra, David, and just announce that tracking is available only through UPS shipments. But I'd still offer the USPS shipping, since for the cheap methods, they will beat UPS ground on getting it there more quickly, and they deliver on Saturdays, at least for now.

Mine was shipped USPS and left NY on Thursday afternoon. USPS status was not updated until today (Saturday) when it shows as being in my hometown at 7:05 am. Since mail doesn't arrive here until around 2pm maybe there is a chance I will have it this afternoon. Oh happy days.

UPS pathetic

Post by Ron Saueracker »

I find it hard to believe that UPS "STILL" can't track my friggin order. I only ordered a month ago and was one of the first to get a Matrix shipped message. America really does think Canada is some Eskimo preserve. On that topic, anyone remember a MAD mag cover from the '70s entitled "Hunting the Inuit"? Picture was drawn from the perspective .of the pilot, looking out the starboard window past an American "tourist" firing a rifle as the plane was banking to the right over an Inuit camp. The whole family was dropped at this point and the fun loving sportsman was taking aim on the last little Inuit, frantically running away towards the dubious protection of absolutely no cover. It was pretty tacky, but I found it funny in a sick sort of way.

I guess we Inuit should stop complaining about late parcels when our neighbours down the ice pack are being hunted on weekends.
