Naval Production Question

Post by emcgman »

Does the town/city have to be in a hex next to sea or any other special requirements to produce naval units.

The random scenario I just started the town does not have any Naval units in the list of units possible to build. But the research screen says several units are already researched.

Thanks

Yes, you need a coastal city to produce naval units.

Nah, if there's no unit there, one will be created, costing you 1 PP. If a land unit is there the new naval subformation will join it! If a naval unit is there it will join it. If both naval and land are there it will join the naval.

That´s better, but not needed.
When that coastal city is attached to a HQ outside of that city the ships are delivered direct to a unit in that hex.
Means they will mix with ground units there. When the city is not guarded AT will create a new unit and send the new produced ships into that unit.
