Same happened to me. Seattle Base Force (static) moved to Portland when I ordered 2 AA Regiments from Seattle to that base. CHS. Saves are available.

I found an old thread in which someone said that you could get a static unit to move by selecting a non-static unit from the LCU list and ordering it to move while the static unit was still selected at the bottom of the screen (the yellow box around the unit icon), it didn't work.

Did you recently move units from Shanghai to that hex?

Jay - hi!

What mod/scenario is this??

Hiya Bob.
stock AI, scen12: 28jun43 start.

Also no one (LCU, A/C or ship) has moved into or out of the hex for at least four turns (eight days) but on this turn I moved two Betty units to Guam. However, I also tried backing up a couple of turns and leaving the Betties in place and the same thing happened (didn't save that version but I could reproduce it if I had to)

You should already have the saves before and after.

I had one of the static Jap base forces in Korea do the same thing. The trigger seems to be giving a whole stack of units orders using the "Set all to march" . The static base force follewed the troops one hex then became static again.

This happened in a stock scn 15 ver 1.08.04
