Level 9 with urban will be a tough nut to crack, every 10 AS you can add, means he has to bring like 100 AS more.

Agreed. I don't PBEM but I know enough about it to make two observations:

1) His HR's are FUBAR.
2) Once you start giveing him the ol' BOHICA there's not a chance he will show the sportmanship and class you have.

BTW, this is an outstanding AAR and I have enjoyed reading it immensely.

Make sure you're marching your Command HQ back and forth between Manila and Bataan continuously. That way it will pull the supplies in from the outlying bases and keep it in allied hands longer. Once you've got 25k+ at the three bases (Manila, Bataan and Clark) marching back and forth won't help anymore I'm afraid, but get as much supply in now as you can.

I don't think it will do much with all those Zeros certainly on CAP. What might help would be to base some 4Es at Aden and stage them for raid attack from Karachi when situation allows. Then return to Aden next turn. Of course you would need a working airfield which may prove to be a problem soon.

LUZON:
As i said before he's well aware of the Trick..he has laready landed at Luzon 17000 men for 12 units, 90 fighters (most of which are zeros) and 90 more recon and float planes...he wants clearly to start to reduce Manila's ability to hurt his routes...
Jim: i've already stockpilled all the supplies at Clark and Manila, but the main force, with the HQs remains at Manila where i have 26k supplies and nearly 8 forts...soon Manila will be closed, both the sub-port and the Airfield...

CHINA:
He's advancing towards Changsha but not that fast...i'll probably manage to mass there 2000 AVs before he arrives. However the skies are full of his bombers that are hitting everything i have in China (bases, supplies, troops...). Will be a pain...

INDIA:
He's buiilding very fast Aldemabad and Jaluit. I bet in one week they'll both be level 4 AF. Anyway the AirBalls say that i'm already toasted...i cannot reach Bombay with my fighters from Karachi Fishbed and with no escorts my light british bombers will be simply chewed!
He's now advancing with BBs and CVs from Bombay toKarachi...probably we'll see a combined strike with BBs, bombers from Bombay, Jaluit and Ahdemabad and a KB strike...Karachi is simply doomed! with 180 fighters there plus 200 bombers the air-ball says -300!!!!!!!!! [:o]

PACIFIC:
i've been very unlucky...for 3 days in a row 3 of my subs hit mines at Truk and one more got sunk by Vals in those damned waters...[:@]...for the rest we're sending back most of the transports from the Marshalls to PH and Panama. Will have to bring there more troops, more supplies and more of everything!
We've also started the air-training program against Kwalajein.
Eniwetok is now pretty well defended! Recon says he has 190 fighters at Truk now and some 200 bombers...but he still doesn't dare to send his betties against my ships at Eniwetok

In Luzon his intent isn't to crush me. not now. He simply wants to close my AF and my Port and force me to bring away my planes and my subs...

Forget it. I have only 12 B-17s at Karachi. Nothing more. and, as you said, my AFs in India (Malir and Karachi) will be operative only for the next few hours...then it will all dead. I'll try to hurt the KB...in one last shot...then i'll move everything that can be moved to Aden (So to say the Blenheims ) and leave Karachi to its destiny...

I meant in the future. You will have more B-17s and B-24s and there might be an occasional thunderstorm season allowing you to repair enough damage. If such situation arises a surprise raid on overstacked base may catch him off-guard and destroy lots of planes. Not to say about amount of irritation it would cause for your opponent - priceless
Of course Karachi must first withstand his assaults for that long. But I bet you will be positively surprised with this fortress.

How many of those 80+ fighters are expected to actually take off from a size 5 airfield with nearly a thousand planes on it? Does anyone know how to calculate that

It doesn't have to took off from Bombay! He has Ademadabad and Jaipur which are closer...and today we had the proove of it!
25 P-40s lost over Karachi and Manila in A2A combats, against only 6 Oscars...[:o] My planes were flown by my best experienced crews...65 exp of average...no match for the zeros!
He started to sweep Karachi in the morning. I had moved all my planes to Malir but a bunch of my pilots decided however to defend the Indian Capital, probably because they have their bitches there and they decided to not follow my orders and got clobbered by the zeros...[:@]
At the same time the KB is advancing with the BBs...tomorrow the weather is forecasted as stormy...so i kept my planes at Malir...simply no reasons to stay at Karachi to die from NUKE-BBs while they cannot fly back because of the clouds...
Then in the afternoon 70 fighters sweept manila. Again bad results...the days of Manila are gone. Evacuation is ordered towards China...without my fighter force i cannot keep my bombers there...he has brought 17 units at Luzon!!! He wants clearly to build up bases for his bombers to start reducing Manila base...oh well, sooner or later this would have happened...

Well I dunno - the moment KB leaves, CAP will be assured by Karachi land-based air forces.

He can master, even without KB, hundreds of fighters and bombers. Litterally.
I only have P-40s and Hurricanes there, whose pools are already empty. I produce 40 of each model per month. Simpy not enough.
He can produce easily 400 zeros/oscars per month and the zeros are superior to my frames.
The Air-Battle of Karachi is already lost.
I just have to keep on living for the longer possible...every day i survive is a day gained, but do not expect any victory
