Saitek X-45 problem

I'm having a problem with my X-45 and keymapping. When I try to remap a button in the control options the button always maps to controller button 12 (first setting of the AUX switch on the throttle) AUX and Mode switches are always on in whatever position they are at. The problem is I've used the same X-45 in the origional SS and TGS and not had this problem before. Everything on the HOTAS checks out in game controllers and it's working fine in other games.

Anyone experianced this issue?

you can bypass the problem by unbinding all joystick commands and using saitek's mapping software

Fiach i'm having same problem and can't seem to get it fixed. evened tried to unbind all joystick commands and nothing. i'm trying to see if i can get some help form Saitek
