Latest update:

ALLIES GETTING TAR BEAT OUT OF THEM!! HELP!!

It looks like the Japanese have licensed out A6M Zero production in Bangkok. Historically Bangkok had a small aircraft industry and is thus represented in the game for the Japanese to take advantage of. Of course, it's awfully close to the front lines. [;)]

I just ran through the combat replay sent over to Allies, hoping, praying, desiring. But not a single one of my subs attacked Baby KB over the last 2 turns. [:(]

We will get better over time. They are as good as its gonna get right now[:D] Besides those subs were just so impressed by the KB they just stared in AWE instead of taking action. Oh I would post something but my theater is quiet, after all most of it is still smoldering at Pearl[8|]

Typhoons in the Pacific!!!!

OK. Allies are getting our rears kicked as is standard starting out for CHS or any other scenario.

BUT....

We're going to try our new secret weapon. The Typhoon Mk IA was built in limited numbers by the brits and then sidelined due to airframe problems in favor of Spitfires and Hurricanes. Instead of sitting on the sidelines, in this mod, the Brits send 32 of them off to the Far East to work out airframe kinks there. In desperation, Lord Mont-Gary, has commandeered the Typhoons for one of his Australian squadrons to try to tip the air balance a little.

At 412 MPH with 12 .303 cal MGs in the wings and good armor, this should be interesting. Right now the squadron is fitting out with the new planes. Give it about 5 turns and we should get our first air raid off. I'm looking for some Zeros to pounce on for a test. [8D]

I don't have any bomb load fitted to them. With airframe problems it probably wouldn't be a great idea. They're strictly fighters in this mod. The MK. IB OTOH carries two 1000 lb bombs and is due in 8/42 (25 per month). [8D]

Actually I shouldn't start any more games until I can get back into a regular schedule with work. I'm job hunting at the moment and I wouldn't be able to promise continuing a second game if I get bogged down with work. Hopefully it won't be too long before I can find a job.

OK. Game is back on. I had to momentarily step out but we're back. So far Nomad and Darken92 are back on board and we're waiting to see if Miller41 is still available to continue.

For anyone interested I've made a couple changes to the base mod, although I believe we'll be continuing where we left off with the current build we're playing.

Japanese now have 7500 PPs to start and get 250 per turn.

Allies start with 0 PPs and get 500 per turn from there.

So far we've been keeping tabs on the Political Point situation and the original settings were just way too high. As we go along PPs may get further modified depending upon how things pan out in the future.

A big thank you to Ken a/k/a Nomad and Darren a/k/a Darken92 for bearing with me through a momentary break in the game. [&o] We're hoping that Miller41 is still available.
