Since I am at war with Turkey and Russia at this point, I don't mind if Vic plays the Russian turn.  Maybe we put in a rule that players have 2 days to play their turn if they do not make other arraingements of warn the group.

It seems like it has been 4 days and we have not advanced a turn.  If you have to step away for a while, that is fine.  To be fair to the group, players should make other arrangements.  If you are still playing, I think it is your responsibility to get to a turn within 24 hours.  It is also your responsibility to check the board and ask previous players if you have not gotten your turn.  I hope we can get this game going again, but such a long break between turns, especially with no communications, is not a lot of fun.

I Pm-ed Ande to figure it out with marcusm.

To be honest these massive player games need a gamemaster; somebody who received all passwords at the start and can always break in and surrender a lagger or asign a lagger to a new player.

Well I think the actual break was due to the Scandinavia player being on Christmas holiday.

My apologies ahead of time... My 2 year old turned off the computer half way through my turn and I had to restart it.
