Bug Report: Blockade Battle

Here is the situation. I am Spain and at war with Austria and Turkey.

Turkey is blockading Austrian ships in Venice.

My spanish fleet leave port in italy, and enters the blockade box of Venice to attack the turkish fleet.

I get a screen that says "Do you want to relieve the blockade of Venice" and a I click yes and I go to battle with Turkey

I win the battle, but magically reappear back in my port from which I left, even though I wouldnt have enough move points to get back there if I even wanted to after the battle...I am not in the blockade box of venice where I wanted to be...

is this a reported bug, being fixed or something new?

Cant remember if its in the prepatch notes but im sure it has been reported before

I did fix some blockading issues where neutrals (They become neutral as a result of the port being taken by a neutral) were leaving the board! I have changed it so that the blockading forces simply get bumped out to sea.
Not sure if this is what you're seeing???

No, that is not the situation, there were no neutrals here and it wasnt simply bumped to sea..

Spain (me) is at war with Austria and Turkey both. Turkey is at war with Austria. So we are all at war with each other (no neutrals).

Turkey is blockading Austria in Venice. I decide to attack Turkey who is blockading - I am at war with both remember - cause I want to kill turkey ships and take over the blockade. I attack Turkey in blockade box, it gives me the message about relieving blockade...I kill the turkish ships entirely, and instead of remaining in the blockade box that I just cleared out to do my own blockade of Austria since I am at war with it too, I end up back in my own port I left from with no movement points to get back.

So its entirely different situation from that neutral blockade bug you mention, cause there is no neutrals I should be able to be in the austrian blockade box after killing the turkish ships because I am also at war with Austria

I was able to duplicate your find and sent a file to Marshall. Not sure if he will include the fix in 1.01 or 1.02. Thanks

I got this added (Last minute addition) to the 1.01 patch!

I'll be doing a full build today and submitting to Matrix this evening. I would like to test the install package just as a final check so my answer is almost!
