A few questions about the PDS

Post by Yngvai »

It says in the manual that you can change the stance of players on the defensive side of the ball in the play editor, but I can't see how that's done. There doesn't seem to be any options in the play editor to change a defensive player's stance.

Also, is there any option to change a player's position? I want to create a defense with DE1, DT1, and DT2, but if I choose 3 down linemen when creating a formation, it automatically gives me DE1, DT1, and DE2.

Yngvai.

The mention of the ability to change stance in the manual is a minor error. You can not change the stance on defense in the version 2.0 PDS. I'm afraid that mention is a hold over from older versions of the manual. Sorry about that. I may need to include a small errata in subsequent versions but I'm afraid the manual can't be changed.

As for the second question, the PDS does not support changing the down lineman like that. There are two DE's and the remainder are generated as DT's.

thanks

Put a DT in the DE depth chart and use him as DE2 in that formation.
