Undo naval move after blockaderun ?

Post by eske »

French fleets in Brest (15Hs, 8Ls + transport) succesfully wins a blockaderun against british fleet (10Ls).
Brit fleet retreats to Plymouth. French without the transport ends in Area 11 with 7 moves left.

Now - if i select only the french light fleet - and press undo move, it returns to Brest. Brit fleet remains in Plymouth.
That should not be posiible !
I can now load it with a corps.
If I move it out of Brest to area 11, the brit fleet in plymouth tries to intercept.
Can a fleet thats been retreated to a port attempt interception later in the same naval phase ?

eske,

We have that one fixed in the 1.01 patch. Thanks for the file – made it easier to confirm.

Does the undo also undo transport captures in 1.01 (fleet captures unescorted transports w/o battle, undo fleet move, transports are still prisoners) ?

Not a grognard.
Not an optimizer. It's a game to me, not a job.

No it didn’t. [:(]

Posted to list with file for 1.02. Thanks.

Correct me if im wrong but seems to me and with all right that you shouldnt be able to undo any move that directly interact with another powers units or have a direct consequense for any unit (eg: foraging ) at least thats how the game seem to treat other "interactions". In practical terms the possibility to undo this move is a bug while the still being captured issue is a consequense of the first bug.

That's correct, you should not be able to undo after interacting with another major power (and its controlled minors) and that is why it is a bug on the 1.02 list.
