Team Folders & Uniforms

How does the game know where to find the team folder for a particular team? Suppose I modify the league database (I want to quikly create a league from saved teams), how do I then tell that team where to find the files for uniform, field, etc.?

the team name will create the folder

The program will look for the folder. 
 
If the folder does not exist, the program will create it.
