Advanced Tactics Patch v1.10L problem

Help!

I have DL'd the zipped Advanced Tactics patch v1.10L into my Advanced Tactics folder. I then unzipped the patch into my Advanced Tactics folder. I then run the v1.10L exe. All appears to work just fine.

However, when I start the game, the opening screen still says that I am playing v1.02b. Then I send a PBEM file to a friend who has patched up to v1.10L just fine. His game says that my version is not the most recent.

What is the catch? What am I doing wrong?

Any help is much appreciated.

the patch is an .exe that is an installer application. if you execute it you have to make sure the filepath the installer asks for is correct.

The patch installs on the path that leads directly to my AT file.

Out of frustration, I did a full unistall and reinstall. Then I patched directly to v1.10L. All appears to be in order now.

The patch default path "C:\Matrix Games\Advanced Tactics\bin", make sure it went into the bin folder.
