Player "Disappears"

Post by motnahp »

I saw this after I applied the "h" patch, but I'm not sure it's related.

After a recent game, I looked at my roster, and one of the relief pitchers was missing. Based on their performances, most of them have been figuratively missing all season, but this one was actually GONE, or so I thought.

I looked at my screen really closely and saw him in there, but his text in the relief pitcher area has changed to white. He is barely visible at all, unless his box is highlighted.

I thought he had been injured, but this is not the case. On his player card, he shows at 111%. On the View Rotation screen, his status box has no color at all and appears transparent. By the way, I have moved him around to spots in the rotation and bullpen, as well as the closer spot, and he is still "invisible". I even demoted him and promoted him. No change. I also did an "Auto Adjust". No change there, either.

I'm thinking that with John Henry at 111%, Pure Sim may have its first case of steroid use. I'm attaching a picture of his player card. Anything else you need, let me know. Glad to be of help debugging. I randomly checked six other teams and none of them had a transparent steroid user. I hope I get to use him in my next game, just to see what 111% can do!

Here's the shot of the "View Rotation" page, where Johnson's status box is transparent.

Oh no, that's embarassing. Look at those pitiful ERAs.

Update: In the next game, Johnson pitched one inning of relief and performed normally. He is now showing as "Good" and 84%. Looks like the little buggie has disappeared.
