A new insect species discovered?

In a PBEM I have going a previously unknown insect has apparently taken up residence.

During the Combat Replay I see the normal bombing attacks and so forth but during the PM Air Phase I just get an abbreviated message that skeddely-eight planes attacked whatever and the results of the raid. Same sort of thing occurs in the Land Combat Phase. Strangely my opp can't seem to send the proper Combat Summary either - I am now a spectator to another PBEM he has going.

Anybody else seen anything like this or have any suggestions for fixing it?

Er - this is a new one (if i understand the problem correctly)... does this happen consistently with the game (i.e. - if you reboot and run the combat results file again do the same errors repeat?) [&:]

If it DOES repeat the error, you might try running the Pompac's Patented Procedure... if have no idea if it will work, but it's worth a shot...

We're gonna try the Pompack Method anyways. If the problem continues I'll see if it repeats. So far it has happened with two consecutive turns.

Well the Pompack Method didn't work...but then it did or the "bug" just crawled away. Assorted efforts seemed to have had no effect but after 3 turns where the bug manifested itself it just stopped on the 4th. I got the correct Combat Summary and Combat Animations worked fine throughout the turn. Most peculiar.
