A few suggestions for a patch or future version

I think an interesting addition to the rules could be the option to change the distance needed for a first down. The difference in distance should not be drastic, somewhere between 5 and 30. Another suggestion is based off an old Arena rule where a dropkick was worth one point more than a place kick. This meant that a dropkicked extra point was worth two and a field goal was worth four. This would require the addition of only one new play which could be put in the playbook as an alternative to the standard field goal.

Another option to consider for the future since it would be difficult to add at this point would be the option to disallow the forward pass for a more old school kind of game. Unfortunately for now this would require a special playbook due to the one rule change. Just something to think about.
