Endless loop

I have recently been having some endless loop problems. Currently at the bottom right of my game a box is popping up "York thinking..." and then it flashes quickly to "York evaluating GM/Managerial tendencies...", and then back to "York thinking..." and so on. If I manually ask windows to shut down the exe and restart, I am usually ok. Just a hunch, but it seems to happen most often in July during trading season. Dont think ever I saw this before 1.70c.

About how long does it last before you give up? I've had some times during critical points in the season (as you said, in late July as the trading deadline nears) where this happens often with various teams. However, I wait it out and in the end everything settles as it should.

I'm curious to know; if you don't CTRL+ALT+DEL it, how long does it go on?

Longest I have let it run was ~20 minutes b4 ctrl-alt-del. I had to restart 7 times, each time looping on a different day, before the trading deadline hit and then everything went back to normal.

I made a copy of my PSA file after the second 'loop', if anyone is interested.

20 minutes?!?

Ouch. No, it's never ran that long for me- I was thinking perhaps 1 minute, 3 tops. There's something askew there, good sir. A knave, a cutpurse, a brigand...
