Prussian Leader Detached and left on the field during movemnet phase

I didn't see this bug in the bug list so I thought I should report it.

Hoenloe(sp) was in Wurttemberg with two corps. During Land movement, I am guessing (but not sure) that the Prussian player detached Hoenloe meaning to move him to another corps, he moved his corps and left Hoenloe in the field alone in Wurttemberg.

I will verify with the player if he detached Hoenloe or if Hoeenloe detached himself.
I will attach the save game this evening when I get home.


Happy note[:D] Dauphin_EIA has made it to the first Economic phase and everything is running relatively smooth. All our players seem to be having a great time so Kudos to the Matrix team, keep fixing them bugs! I think this is a real winner of a game here[:)]

I had a similar experience in one game recently.  I moved a couple of French corps from Karlsruhe to Dresden and Napoleon detached himself.  I didn't notice until the following reinforcement phase when I got warned about an unattached leader.  With no units there, I had to retire Nappy and then bring him on next month.  (It took me a while to figure out how to get out of that loop!) 
 
Maybe something to do with that area, or certain areas?

This has happened to me also, several times in a variety of test games (both versions).
 
Several times as France (*), twice with Prussia, once with Austria, once with Russia.
 
(*) For some reason, Davout really does not like the III Corp I assign him to.  [;)]  (I guess he really loves the Guard Corps)

Are some of the corps perhaps foraging to death?

No, the Corps are not disappearing from foraging in my examples (I would be ashamed of that), the leader just becomes detached when I move them.
 
I have no saved examples, but I feel it may stem from what 'counter' is visable at the moment of choosing the 'stack' to move.
 
If the Leader is on top, you have to select the Corps but the leader remains in "memory"....I hope that makes a little sense.....(clear like mud?)
 
It is normally only something I notice AFTER the fact so I cannot really be sure....next time it happens I'll try to get a save, but I am pretty sure it has something to do with clicking the Leader/Corps stack....

Here it is. We went through Economics and some Diplomacy sorry. I will try to save these as soon as the bug is seen in the future.

Something else to add to this.

A player may not voluntarily cause his leader to become unstacked. Where a leader becomes unstacked due to foraging losses or disbanding, the leader is removed from the map and is returned in any later Reinforcement Phase.

In the case I had where Napoleon became detached and unstacked, the game did not automatically remove him from the map. I had to do that myself during the following Reinforcement Phase.
