Contested town auto suppy?

Post by Gilgawath1 »

One or two of the bases automatically produce supply each turn (ie Chungking in China), do they continue to do so when the hex is occupied by both allied and Japenese troops?

I have the Chinese down to just the few towns/cities (5 I think) in the west of the country, Chingking westwards. If the City produces its own supply automatically not throught the resourse, oil, heavy industry route, do the Chinese gain this supply each turn no matter what (I must take the city quickly before the troops resupply) or does it stop when the city hex is contested (Can take my time and just bomb them into submission)?

Thanks

Apparently they do continue "autosupply"- it is EXTREMELY difficult to take Chungking in a PBEM game - i think it took RUPD something like 2 years of siege (with constant attacks, bombing) to take Chungking.
