Turkey Surrenders uncontionally to France, problem no war?

ok, i am moving around in turkey now, as Britain, Turkey is at war with a few nations, just not france, i want uncontionally from him, but then he do surrender just to 1 person, France, who have no troops in his territory, i do even believe they are allies lol

I think something is screwed up in 1.01 as i bet it was Great Britain he was suppose to surrender too.

Issues concerning weird and/or repeating surrenders have already been reported and placed on the bug list. The list also contains the “refusing reinforcement” issue too. Please refer to this thread:

well just an update on latest patch 1.01b, playing as England in war vs Turkey, they surrender to France again! so not fixed, as Turkey is not even at war still with him, but with me!

I've noticed that it's *always* been France which gets the extra surrenders, and it's when the surrendering nation has grounds for surrendering to someone else.  Natural suspicion is that some variable is defaulting to an index which corresponds to France somewhere...

...and the two times so far where I've suddenly been swapped with a minor power (as in the game thinks I'm no longer playing the major, but the minor!) it's been Portugal.  Hm.

Ditto for me...Turkey is allied to France...no one is even at war with Turkey...suddenly a message box..."Turkey Surrenders Conditionally to France". HUH?!
