Password problems

Have started a couple of games now where, the new player taking over the previuos player that has opted out, and cant get access due to password problems. As I am the host and after sending the appropiate backup files, and editiing the new email and details.
What am I doing wrong
There seems to be a grey area in understanding this problem, as people who have never had problems with passwords, are suddenly coming up with problems.
And there a lot have had them as soon as I send out the Back up files. The bids in one particular game where done in an older game that has restarted, and I just manuelly loaded these old bids in a restarted game
