SUPPLY QUESTION

Post by Mark Breed »

The rules indicate that a town will supply "nearby" forces. Can anybody define "nearby"?

Thank you,

Mark

"Can anybody define "nearby"?"

Not far [:)]

I think for winter supply you need to be in or next to a town you won to stay in reasonable shape. In good weather the supply range seems to be much greater, depending on the size of your force but I don't know the exact range for complete supply. 4-5 hexes on a road seems to keep my troops in supply.

Thanks James for this and your previous response. They are most helpful.

I would hope that the designer(s) could indicate something that one could see in a table or formula. It would be nice to know as a commander how far my supply lines extend.

There appear to be several items of this nature that the designer forgot to include in the rules.

Regards,
Mark

Supply will depend on distance and terrain. You can see, by clicking on the hex how much supply is available to you there.
