Tunisia

This scenario takes a long time to open as it looks for BMPs that aren't there. Do you, the scenario designer, plan to put them in? If not, please remove the code looking for them.

I made the scenario. Not sure what you mean about looking for BMPs that aren't there. There are only 2 graphics to load at the start and end of game.  I agree, it does take longer than normal to load. Let me know what I need to do and I will fix it [:)].

While loading, I get error messages saying it can't find BMPs for Rommel or Monty in graphics/Tunesia.  Strange, I know.

@bulldog,

Make sure that if a player unzips the file inside the BIN directory it puts everything in the right place.

Kind regards,
Vic

I did it so that it unzips in the 'Matrix Games/Advanced Tactics/' directory, if anyone is having the same error just unzip to this folder, others have said it is easier this way. Let me know if you have a problem with this Vic and I will change it immediately. To quote from the FAQ on the community site:
How should i upload multiple scenario's or a scenario with custom sound/graphics?
In that case you'll have to zip all files in 1 zip file and upload that zip file. Make sure that if someone unzips the zipfile in the AdvancedTactics Directory that it unpacks correctly. This will be tested before your scenario is approved.

Sorry for any problems people have experienced.

Thanks.

hi bulldog,

i will reformulate that sentence in the faq.
it is very amigious indeed.

the policy is if you unzip the file in the same directory as the AdvancedTactics.EXE is located it should install correctly.

sorry for the misunderstanding.

kind regards,
Vic

OK, I found the problem.  The graphics folder was is a senario/bin/graphiics sub-directory.  I moved it to /bin/graphics and it works now.

This scenario just crashed when I was trying to load the allied pbem turn after the axis third turn.

I have a save file if it's of help to anyone.
