The Luck Fairy seems stand on Tomik's side this time. BKB surprise attacked Colombo and caught the whole RN Fleet without guard.

It's just the commander's mistake that he didn't manage to move the BKB 4 hexes from Colombo but 5!

250kg AP is nothing for the British Armored carriers.

What a bad luck[:@]

Well, looks like President Tomik keep his carriers in the port and my little prediction doesn't work.

Anyway, BKB is going home for R&R and this random failure is the charming part of the war.[:D]




AFTER ACTION REPORTS FOR 02/09/42




Invasion: THE NEW ZEALAND CAMPAIGN

The invasion of New Zealand finally begins! 14th Army, including 2ndt, 38th, 56th Div, 56th Bde, some combat engineer Rgt and heavy gun units will invade New Zealand in the next a few weeks. The 4th Div, which is formerly under the command of 16th Army, is now about 10-15 days away from NZ, it serves as a reserve. This NZ Campaign is supported by 4/5 of the combined fleet, including the intacted KB(6 carriers), 7 battleships, 14 CAs and lots of aux ships.

However, it is not a good beginning for today. 1 marine Bn landed on NZ east coast city Gisborne was wiped out by the garrison's guns![:@]And the intelligence showed 8th NZ bde, which is saved from Suva, is now holding the base. 2nd Div will landed there tomorrow and secure the beachhead there.

US Fleet stay in Johnston Island for another day, all of my navy bombers in Palmyra choosed to stay in home[:@]What is Tomik want to do? To take back Johnston Island when mighty KB isn't there?

The ONLY reason I took Johnston Island is to seduce the US carriers and eliminate them.
This goal has also been fulfilled and there is no mean to keep this island in the range of 4E, I would like President Tomik pay some price and took back this Island.[:'(]

Several naval and ground combats were won by the empire today and in one single day over 12,000 allies troops surrendered. The Allies surrounded in Manlia made one last try to breakout, and failed bravely. Not bad if we can carry on like this[:D]

This is a little surprise engagement, maybe Tomik is chasing my fleet?[&:] Anyway, allies fleet is surprised attacked and CL Raleigh is hit by 3 torpedoes before it can make any reaction. She lost the capability of fighting instantly, then 2 US DDs following her were sunk quickly too, 3 imperial destroyers suffered some light to medium damage but have no danger of sunk. President Tomik bring up a HRs which he thought was already there:
 
"no air attack on abandoned bases."
 
which means I cant use those empty bases to train my pilots.
 
I have no idea how this is going to influence the JPTP(Japanese Pilots Training Program)[8D] 
 
So I prudently approved this HR but reserved my right to make amendments~
