Close Combat - Cross of Iron is based on Atomic Games award Winning Close Combat Series. Close Combat is a real time game were you take command of German or Soviet squads on the Eastern Front during World War II. This version is being developed by CSO Simtek and will include many new features and improvements.

I used to play CCII and III on MsN some time ago.
Reading the review of cross of iron got me all nostalgic..In particular the online play,the main reason i packed in CC was it seemed to die off as CCIV and V appeared[:(]
Il probably buy it anyways, but i was wondering how active the online element is?
I would love to spend a few evenings playing the same maps i cut my teeth on, all those years ago..
