Tom - China in WaW just too easy for Japan

Hey Tom,

I love this scenario but China is just so easy for Japan to knock out. I honestly don't know that much about the Chinese front in WW2 but maybe some change is needed to either allow China to slow down Japan w/ a card from their US PP's or to buy better troops w/ PP's or partisans - or something because right now it seems really out of whack.

Actually, I should clarify that. I haven't yet played your most recent update with the locked down Japanese navy (does it include the Marines?). That would probably make a world of difference.

Of course, it comes at the cost of hamstringing the Japanese player, in terms of strategic options, and being able to produce freely.

IIRC, Tom posted, or was going to post a test version that had the Japanese Navy locked in Tokyo until the Major Offensive card was played, and Tokyo being unavailable for production. This was about the same time that I started working on my mod of the scenario, so I never downloaded it and tested it. Hence, I'm only going by memory from what was posted in a thread somewhere or another...
