I could be wrong, but are you sure it's a zip file ? I thought all digital downloaded Matrix Games were straight exe installers.

And to make sure your download isn't corrupted you should use a download manager - there's instructions in here on which one to use and how to use it.

It sounds like a corrupted download.

You can retrieve the link at any time in a time frame of 30 days from the point of purchase (please note that the 30 days is only "official", "unofficially" it should never expire). Please go to our E-Store and click on "Store FAQs" , there check the "I need help downloading." link. Or go to www.findmyorder.com and enter your order number and password.

If you have troubles downloading large files then we suggest you use a download client like "Stardownloader" available for free from www.stardownloader.com . It will let you resume disconnected or broken downloads. You can even pause them and resume them whenever you want.

Hi Eddy,

All of the downloaded Matrix games that I've purchased have been zipped, with the installers being the only file within the zip. You always have to extract the installer from the zip file. ThreeToe's problem sounds like the file suffered some corruption in the download.

No worries. I was just wondering if the European Store did things differently by not zipping the installer.

As far as I know, they are generally zipped because some customers' security programs prevent them from download executable files.

Ihave this problem despite I read this forumthread and made the changes eith temp.file and using the Star Downloader. The only difference since I downloaded the Starware is that I can download the file without interrupption wich was impossible before.Befor only 60-85 was donloaded before the process completley quitted.I made some 6 tries before the 100%download with Star(wich was corrupt)Now I have installed brand new winzip as an experiment. BUT THIS CANT BE TOLERATED that pirateware works better than BOUGHT stuff.

What kind of connection do you have? Our servers have plenty of bandwidth and we have hundreds of folks downloading from us without a problem each day. I'm sorry you're having issues, but the problem has to be somewhere between our server and your system since things here are working fine. Which game are you trying to dowload?

Hm, care to elaborate?
