Feature Request: Windowed Mode

Hey Marshall,

Didn't know where else to request this, so I figured I'd throw it in here. At least its not a bug [:)]

It would be awesome if you could run the game in a window. This would be especially useful when you're playing a PBEM game with a group in the same timezone. I am playing one game right now where almost everyone is online and playing at the same time, but I find I have to quit the game to switch my monitor back to a useful rez for chatting, checking websites for files, etc.

An enhancement for the future, if you get that small amount of spare time [;)]

Will ALT-TAB not work for you?
I'm not trying to push this off since this is not the first time this has been requested, it's just not a trivial change since most of my map scrolling is based on full screen design (In DX terms FULL SCREEN EXCLUSIVE).

Hey Marshall,

Alt-tabbing works and it what I do now. Windowed mode has the benefit of having more screen real estate. I run my monitor in widescreen format (1680x960) and I'd have lots of room left for a larger Firefox window, and various chat screens. This would be better than the stretched view you get from alt-tabbing. An alternative I suppose would be if alt-tabbing out of EiANW reset the screen rez the same as when you quit the game.
