okay to delete v1.0 after dnld v4.0?

okay to delete v1.0 after dnld v4.0?

I began with v1.0 and have progressively upgraded through v2.3 since then. I now have many Mb of upgraded files.

As I understand it, v4.0 is not standalone, but installs over v2.x. Can I now delete the v2.0, 2.1, 2.3 files and just install v4.0 over the v2.3 or should I delete all upgrades and install over the original v2.0.

Or do I need to keep everything and just install v4.0 with everything intact?

All you need is a full version 2.0 or higher and the v4 patch, You can delete the rest.
