Victoriam speramus - Russia 41 with Seille, this time as germans

Seille killed most russian stuff or at least encircled them. But in the South some Russians are left, more or less cutoff, but with enough ap to do limited movement or attacking.

One such attack manages to kill a truck of one of Seille's Panzerdivisions. A nice small delay.

My second turn as German.
Cleaned my backland and advanced in direction to Kiev/Riga/Minsk.

Not much happened during my turn. The russians continue to flee.

German turn 3.
Fast advance. Our speaheads captured Kiev, Minsk and Riga.

Only smaller losses since Boron probably places his defense more east.
Near Leningrad we sunk a russian BB by artillery.

Not a single shot was fired during the russian turn.

German turn 4.
Continued the advance. Captured Dnjepopetrovsk and Smolensk this turn.
Parts of Crimea are also under german control.

Between Kiev we found a first new russian defense line.

No serious losses this turn since i had no targets in range.

Hm a first little success. Seille exposed his artillery in the Krim, so a panzer korps raids them. The attack stalls, but 4 artillery get killed.

Apart those minor battles in the krim no combat this turn. I also did 2 attacks with infantry vs. a tank unit of seille. While we couldn't kill the tanks we at least got 2 trucks thus immobilizing them for a turn.

Turn 5. Seille brought lots of artillery with the finns but didn't protect them enough. Our first tank wave already killed a couple of them.

Not much happened this turn.
Moved closer to Charkov, Sevastopol, Moscow and Leningrad.

We finally found some russian troops in front of Moscow and Charkov ready for a counterattack.

Did not protect my artillery ?
 
I had lots of infantry in the hex before and in the artillery hex.
The problem is that i did not see the massive tank force ready to jump on my forces [;)]

In the south we get also active. We do lots of bloody attacks, casualities are usually slightly higher for the russians, but the axis troops bleed too. A typical such attack looks like that:

A bloody turn. German losses 82k production points, russian losses 46k.

Very good counterattack Boron did.
My troops are stopped in front of Moscow and Charkov and have to fight the russian forces there.
Fight in front of Sevastopol is also very hard, but i hope to get it before the winter comes.

From now the easy walk thru the park is over and the real fights start.
