TUNE UP FOR SPWAW

Post by Stahlherzog* »

Has any of the SPWAW designers given thought of rebuilding the game? I love Steel panthers and have logged more hours on it than any war game I own, but I wish for more. I think the game engine, OOBs and the like are excellent. I wonder if the game could be retooled to have full graphic features. Animations the quality of or better than lets say Close Combat III? Improved sound effects and better graphics would improve the joy of game play and reopen the marketability of the game. I love the turn based system with opportunity fire as it levels the playing field against computer AI that can overwhelm you on real time games. I must admit though I like the graphics and detail in many of the RTS games. I'd just like to see the two combined. Anyone else think the same?

I would like to have core force, that earns experience after each battle (the BATTLE button in menus) and can be used in next one. Would add whole lot of spice for ACL [;)]
You know what they say, don't you? About how us MechWarriors are the modern knights, how warfare has become civilized now that we have to abide by conventions and rules of war. Don't believe it.
