Trotter gets tested in Italy

Post by Mockingbird »

After reading Trotter's write up of this scenario, I just had to see if I could do as well.....and I did about the same. Then I turned the tables and tried from the German perspective (thinking it would be a cakewalk) but it wasn't and I barely got a draw.

But the most interesting thing was that somehow I drove one of my panzers into a house and it became immobilized when I really could have used it. A couple of turns later I decided to click on it to see if it had repaired it's self..... It had. What a great feature, although I wasn't able to get it to the battlefield in time to make a difference it is wonderful knowing the possibility exists.

Thanks many times over for the great war gaming experience.

Has anyone else done better as the Germans the first time around?
