windowed vs full screen?

hi folks

i read that there was no way to run the game higher than 1024x768 - i can live with that - except i want to run it in windowed mode (my desktop runs in 1600x1200 on a big monitor). I cannot find a way to do this however, and when I cntrl task out of the game the rest of my desktop gets set to 1024x768 - which, on a 24" screen, is ridiculous.

can someone tell me how to change it to run in windowed mode?

There is an options button in game where "Toggle Full Screen" button can be toggled ON/OFF
