Direct Play error: need help!

HI

Need some help here. I tried to play a scenario with a friend via tcp/internet and when I try to get into the game I get a message and it says:

direct play error:
no valid sessions exsist on this connection

we tried it both ways and he got the same messaage and we were unable to play online..I did a DX diag and it says all is fine..does anyone here have any ideas??

Are either of you behind a firewall? Windows or otherwise? They need to be disabled before you start.

Also if your plugged into a network you'll have to disconnect from it and plug the internet connection directly into your computer.
