What-If... Scenario

I'm pretty new to TOAW and I want to try the Road to Moscow VIII: What If Scenario. Can somebody give me advice how to break the Soviets and conquer Moscow? Until now I only played the first turn and got massive losses against these entrenched units, even with Panzer units...
