CW Gettysburg: Fatigue will not decrease

Post by Didi63 »

Hello,
one simply question:

My Union brigade has a fatigue level of 3. I'm now waiting for several moves that the level will be decrease to 0. But nothing happens. The brigade do nothing and they stand behind the frontline! So what can I do?

There is an element of luck on unit recovery of fatigue. You might have to leave that unit in place for hours before it recovers fatigue. It's a bit like the way units can go to "low ammo" the first time they fire... it's just an internal die roll going on.

One of the things a lot of people would like to change is this "luck" factor. I, for one, would like to have each unit's ammunition supply recorded and changed each time they fire. Fatigue? the same thing.. some percentage recovery that occurs with every turn of rest, perhaps subject to some modification for being stacked with an effective leader.

Until that miracle happens, you just have to live with the game the way it was originally designed - which is still fantastic. It does have it's faults though.

My old Piczo site seems to be gone, so no more Navajo Nation pics :(
