Old user wants to return to the forum

I purchased this back when it was 1.0....loved it and played it regularly.

That was at least a couple of years ago.

I see that it is now about to reach version 2.2 and I am interested in once again taking up the electronic pigskin.

My questions are, since I owned the original (way back when) but no longer have it on any hard drive (my HD took a dump about 8 months ago) do I have to repurchase it to acquire it and if I do....is it worth a 2nd full purchase? When we last left off it was still having a few issues (not that I minded too much). Just how far has it come since 1.0?

I'll let the other owners chime in on most of your questions but I'll try to answer the 'how do I get my download again' question.
 
You should be able to go to www.findmyorder.com and enter either your email address or credit card information. That site should resend you your purchase information and download link. That should get you back to 1.0.
 
To get to 2.0, register the game and go to the matrix members area and download the 2.0 update. 2.1 is a patch for 2.0. You must have 2.0 installed first.
 
That's a lot of downloading and updating. I hope that between matrix and I we can make all old versions go away and just have full installation for 2.2 and an update version of 2.2. Unfortunately, there's currently an upgrade path to follow.

If you still have your login info for the Matrix Members Club, just log in and click on 'My Games'

It should have serial # and downnload info

The download available should be 2.0

2.0 replaced any 1.0 stuff. 2.0 is stand alone and needs no 1.0 as far as I know.

And then get the 2.18 patch

Its come a long way and is about to get better
