Allied aircraft factories and replacement rates

Post by goodboyladdie »

I am currently playing and enjoying RHS-EOS. I only get 26 Hurricane IIbs a month and am only due to receive 18 Spitfire Vbs a month. I cannot find factories that will produce the later marks of Hurricane either. Will my current factories upgrade to produce the later marks? Will my factories ever get any bigger as the war progresses?

RHS has gone over to a system of entirely on map Allied aircraft production.

This is to prevent old types producing forever - the starting types almost always upgrade to other types.

In many cases - and I think this is one of them - more than one starting type will upgrade to the same later type.
In addition, sometimes you also get a new plant for the later type on the same type - but if you don't see one of those
it does not apply in this case.

Thus - at Seattle you have two B-17 plants. One starts the game producing and the other should start not producing - you should
set repair to NO. When that second plant comes on line - you will see the first one simply converted to the later type - but the later
line will ramp up from that level - so the eventual monthly total is highter.

Some Allied types end up with simply monsterous production rates - especially in EOS family. The P-47 is the extreme case.
