Perpetual walking

Post by dreamtheatervt »

I know it has been reported before, but I can't find the thread.

I was trying to make new plays in the PDS, but when I try to practice them (with or without a defense), the running backs keep walking in place even thought they aren't touching or hindering each others paths.

I've never seen that. Does exiting the game and restarting it make a difference?

I've seen this before, im not sure I remember what caused it. But the WRs or RBs will just walk in place.

I almost want to say it has something to do with not having the right player in a position.

It seems play dependent.  I have several plays with the same formation, some of them work, resave it as a new play and build the new play, and all of the sudden the players won't get set.  Happens with and without a defense.

i get it on a variety of plays at random.  i haven't noticed any constant variable with it.

i have to exit the game, then re-enter for the "walking" to stop.

I've had this way back in 1.3149. My TE wouldn't set. I've not seen it in 2.18. And if my memory serves me it was a Punt play?

I'm using 2.18, and it's my FB and HB.

Ironically, it doesn't happen in when I play the game.

If the running back command is Move To: in order to get him set up for a block, and then Block: Back Field is given as a command, the back will move to the spot and run in place.

Is this what you are seeing?

This is out of the huddle, so it is not a problem of using the logic.  The players won't get set.
